Käthe Kruse exhibited at the Nuremberg Spielewarenmesse (Toy Fair) again this year with a booth adjacent to the parent Hape booth in Hall 3A. They were showing a traditional line of dolls and soft toys continuing the over 100 year history of the brand.
A full line of soft toys was shown including the long running towel dolls, rattles, teethers, and soft-plush animals and dolls. A classic line of soft toys continues with the same fabrics and styles used for many years.
You can explore the full line of soft toys from Kathe Kruse including items from past years that are now hard to find in our store.
Of course Kathe Kruse was first a doll company and play dolls continue to be a central part of the brand. This includes the Puppa and Bath Baby doll series started several years ago and the recent return of Mini Bambina dolls. Puppa dolls have soft bodies, arms and legs with a phthalate-free vinyl head. Bath Baby dolls are all phthalate-free vinyl and are safe to take into the bathtub. And, Mini Bambina dolls have soft, weighted bodies with phthalate-free arms, legs, and head.
Always popular at the Nuremberg Toy Fair are the Kathe Kruse dolls for collectors. These dolls are each individually hand crafted in Germany and produced in limited quantities. The faces follow a long tradition of the pensive style of Kathe Kruse.
