Gretel is a 15 inch doll modeled after her character in the fairy tale. She is very comfortable in her berry colored wool dress with a matching apron. To protect her from the cold of the forest she wrapped a big warming shawl around her body. Over her dress she wears a knitted jacket made from bouclé wool. Her little feet stay warm in her felt boots with fur trim. Her blonde kanekalon hair is braided and tied with matching ribbons. Gretel has a shaped vinyl head and a soft cloth body, a hand painted face, and vinyl arms and legs. Hansel and Gretel are replicas of the Child of Fortune doll first introduced in 1998.
