Hansel is a 15 inch doll modeled after his character in the fairy tale. He wears green linen trousers and a violet flannel shirt that includes a warm hood. Over his shirt he wears a knitted sweater and a warm brown jacket, which is trimmed on the sleeves with leather patchwork. Hansel's feet are warm and dry in his felt boots. His red kanekalon hair is styled cheekily. Hansel has a shaped vinyl head and a soft cloth body, a hand painted face, and vinyl arms and legs. Hansel and Gretel are replicas of the Child of Fortune doll first introduced in 1998.
